Position Overview:
Large estate on the Peninsula is seeking a talented, hands-on, Private Chef to join their team. Successful candidates will have 8+ years of executive-level experience in a world-class restaurant, Relais & Chateaux, Michelin, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to create and prepare a Menu based on the Family’s preferences
- Ability to follow special dietary needs, likes and dislikes
- Knowledge of etiquette and proper table service
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to maintain high levels of sanitation and food safety
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to use all senses to ensure quality of food
- Ability to plan and develop menus and recipes
Applicant Requirements:
- Must be able to work a very flexible schedule!
- Must have high-level experience in top restaurants
- Must currently live in the Bay Area
- Must be able to clearly communicate in English, written and verbal
- Able to work legally in the United States
- Able to pass a in-depth background investigation
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Able to work well in a team environment and have a very positive attitude
