Position Overview:

Large estate on the Peninsula is seeking a talented, hands-on, Private Chef to join their team. Successful candidates will have 8+ years of executive-level experience in a world-class restaurant, Relais & Chateaux, Michelin, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to create and prepare a Menu based on the Family’s preferences
  • Ability to follow special dietary needs, likes and dislikes
  • Knowledge of etiquette and proper table service
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain high levels of sanitation and food safety
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to use all senses to ensure quality of food
  • Ability to plan and develop menus and recipes

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must be able to work a very flexible schedule!
  • Must have high-level experience in top restaurants
  • Must currently live in the Bay Area
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in English, written and verbal
  • Able to work legally in the United States
  • Able to pass a in-depth background investigation
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Able to work well in a team environment and have a very positive attitude
