Woodside family is seeking an exceptional Housekeeper to join their outstanding staff(many of whom have been with the family for a very long time) and take responsibility for the cleaning and organization of their large estate. Candidates should be professional, energetic, hardworking, proactive, detail-oriented, service-minded, and have experience working in a large private home.

Required skills include but are not limited to:
- Daily and deep cleaning of the main residence and multiple outbuildings on the property
- Able to take direction from House Manager and/or Principals while maintaining the highest level of standards of service and overall efficiency of the residence.
- Attend to assigned special requests and complete in a timely manner
- Extensive experience in cleaning high-end homes
- Resourceful problem solver
- Hands-on and possess exceptional organizational skills
- Finish duties effectively and promptly
- Anticipate housekeeping needs with little guidance and oversight
- Good communication with Principals, coworkers, and vendors
- Execute organizational and deep cleaning projects
- Must have experience with steaming, ironing and caring of fine linens and delicate fabrics (experience with mangle iron a plus)
- Able to respond to requests in a timely fashion with thorough understanding and follow-through
- Able to follow and adhere to policies and procedures
- Deep knowledge and experience in the care of fine finishing’s, special surfaces and how to work around artwork and antiques
- Independently make recommendations based on research for the best products and understand the application of those products
- Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards
- Ensure and understand security and safety
Sample of duties and tasks:
- Ensure all cleaning equipment & housekeeping tools are maintained and in good working order
- Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Assist with on-site events as needed
- Actively observe and report anything requiring attention
- Organize personal items and closets as directed
- Change bed linens according to established standards and schedules
- Clean furniture and fixtures as directed while using approved products
- Perform and manage laundry needs
- Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
- Clean bathrooms in the main house and outbuildings (guest house, pool house, gym and staff office) according to prescribed sanitary standards
- Gather and empty trash bins daily
Requirements:
- Must be eligible to legally work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Fluent in English/effective communicator(must be able to text and email in English)
- Excellent references from past employers
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in fine homes preferably with multiple outbuildings
- Must pass a background check
- Exercise discretion regarding confidential information
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 35 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
Compensation:
- 80-85K | DOE
- Retirement Plan with 6% match
- Health/Dental/Vision: employee + dependents
- Unlimited PTO
- The family travels every year, December 25-January 1, the estate team is off during this time(paid).
