An executive couple living near Sacramento, California is seeking a Household Manager for their home. Applicants must have previous household management experience and be naturally curious about learning new household systems. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is willing to wear many hats to keep the residence organized, and running smoothly. The candidate who is chosen for this exciting opportunity will work closely with the principals and be responsible for the hands-on operation/organization of the residence.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Resourceful with ability to problem-solve and be solution-oriented
- Ability to work independently, but also willing to accept direction from the principals
- Ability to anticipate and meet household and family needs
- Housekeeping and upkeep of residence
- Meals: Simple cooking/food prep/grocery shopping
- Kitchen: Organization and maintenance, pantry management
- Wardrobe: Knowledge and aptitude for organization, manage maintenance of wardrobe
- Laundry/ironing
- Assist with entertaining, setting the dining table, etc
- Vendor management
- Work in a proactive manner while reducing waste and inefficiency
Applicant Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent, long-term, high-level experience required
- Excellent references from all past employers
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English, written and verbal
- Must be able to use cell phone, email, text to communicate with family and vendors, and computer to order products online, create simple inventory and organizational spreadsheets
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must be willing to use personal vehicle for work use)
- Authorized to work legally in the United States
- Must be able to pass an in-depth background check
- Able to make a long-term commitment
- Able to work well in a team environment and have a very positive attitude!
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
