We are actively searching for a Housekeeper for an active family in Palo Alto. Candidates for this exciting opportunity should be open-minded and able to work a schedule which will require occasional flexibility. Our client is looking for someone who is extremely detail-oriented and dedicated to excellence. Applicants must have previous high-level housekeeping experience in a busy household.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the 5000 Sq. ft residence. Applicants must be able to work well unsupervised, capable of managing vendors, and ensuring that the high standards of the family are met or exceeded.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Total estate cleaning and performance of deep-clean projects
- Supervision of weekly cleaning service team
- Strong knowledge of rotational cleaning procedures
- Good organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe organization
- Light pet care (chickens/tortoise/fancy rats!)
- Knowledgeable and capable of using green, organic cleaning products
- Cleaning and care of fine furnishings and surfaces
- Deep cleaning projects when the family travels
- Occasional childcare, driving children
- Simple cooking and food preparation
- Preparing for guests
Applicant Requirements:
- Must be able to make a long-term commitment
- A minimum of 4 years of recent, high-level housekeeping experience required
- Excellent references from past employers
- Must be able to speak English fluently
- Valid US driver’s license and good driving record
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle
- Able to work legally in the United States
- Understand discretion and respect privacy needs of family
- An in-depth background investigation will be required
Compensation:
- $35-$40 | Hour
- Healthcare Compensation: $400 per month
- 7 paid holidays
